About Second Warehouse
We're a family-owned Australian business based in Lowood, Queensland, and we're passionate about finding practical products that offer real value to everyday Australians.
What started as a personal hobby quickly turned into something much bigger.
Our Story
Like many people interested in camping, preparedness and the outdoors, we spent years researching and sourcing products for our own survival kits and everyday gear.
Friends and family were constantly asking where we found these products and whether we could help them get the same items.
That's when the idea for Second Warehouse was born.
Rather than keeping our favourite finds to ourselves, we decided to build an online store where Australians could buy products that had already been researched, tested and approved by people who actually use them.
What Makes Us Different?
Unlike many online stores, we don't simply list products from suppliers.
Every product we sell is personally selected, imported, inspected and tested before it's added to our website.
If we aren't happy with the quality, durability or usability of a product, we simply don't sell it.
In many cases, we also work directly with manufacturers to improve designs, customise products or develop exclusive versions that better suit Australian customers.
Our goal isn't to have the biggest catalogue—it's to offer products we'd happily use ourselves.
Our Warehouse
Our warehouse is located in the small Queensland town of Lowood, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes west of Brisbane.
Every product available on our website is stocked in our Queensland warehouse before it is offered for sale.
We do not list products that are shipped directly from overseas suppliers.
Because we hold our own inventory, we can process orders quickly, carefully pack every shipment ourselves, and dispatch using Australia Post with tracking provided on eligible services.
A Husband and Wife Team
Second Warehouse is run by the two of us.
As a small family business, we personally manage every part of the business, including:
- Researching new products
- Ordering stock
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries
- Quality testing
- Packing and shipping orders
- Responding to customer enquiries

How We Source Our Products
We work with trusted Australian and international manufacturers and suppliers to find products that offer good quality and value.
Before a product is added to our range, we:
- Research available options
- Order samples
- Test the products ourselves
- Assess quality and durability
- Decide whether improvements can be made
- Import stock in bulk for our Queensland warehouse
Where possible, we work directly with manufacturers to make improvements or create products with Second Warehouse branding.
This allows us to offer products that better suit Australian conditions while keeping prices competitive.
